Changes to bin collections
Some of our bin collection days are changing from 1st April 2024. Check to see if you're affected.
We provide alternate weekly bin collections. Your black bin for household waste will be collected one week and your grey bin for recycling will be collected the next week.
If you've signed up to our Green Waste Collection Service, your green bin will be collected the same week as either your black or grey bin, depending on where you live.
Some of our bin collection days will change from 1 April 2024.
Please use our postcode checker to see if this affects you. If it does, you will need to put your bin out on a different day than you've done previously.
Each year, we produce a Waste Guide with information about all our waste and recycling services. This includes details of what to put in your black, grey and green bins, opening times for our recycling centres and what happens to your waste after we've collected it.
We have blank collection calendars for our main bin routes and seperate farms and lodges route which you can download and fill in, to keep track of your bin collection day.
We collect your bins as normal on all bank holidays, apart from those at Christmas and New Year.
We publish details of any Christmas and New Year bin changes in December.
MyAccount is a free service that lets you report issues and submit queries, which you can then track online.
This includes reporting a missed or damaged bin, requesting extra bins or getting help to put your bins out, if you need it.
