Keeping everyone safe

We all have a responsibility to look out for children and young people, as a parent or family member, a friend or neighbour, an employer, or a paid or voluntary worker.

Those with special educational needs or disabilities are especially vulnerable and so all of us can help to safeguard children and young people and take action if we have concerns.

During normal office hours you can contact our Children's Team by calling: 01572 758 407 or emailing: ChildrensReferrals@rutland.gov.uk.

Or for young people, you can contact our Adult Safeguarding Team by calling: 01572 758 341.

When our offices are closed and it's an emergency please call: 0116 305 0005.

If a child or young person is in immediate danger please call 999 and ask for the police.
