Where to find tender opportunities
We do not advertise opportunities for goods or services valued below £50,000 per annum. In these cases, we simply invite quotations directly from potential bidders, in accordance with our Contract Procedure Rules. The relevant Service Manager is responsible for deciding who shall be invited to quote.
All contracts with a value of more than £50,000 per annum will be published on one or more of the following national/local portals, accessible via these links:
Any contract opportunity that’s value exceeds the current EU Procurement Thresholds will be published on Tenders Electronic Daily (TED) in addition to the national/local portals detailed above:
The EU Procurement Thresholds applicable in respect of Goods/ Services; Works and the Light Touch Regime (Social and other specific services), can be accessed via: EU Procurement Thresholds - OJEC
You can find opportunities to tender for public contracts by registering your company on the relevant procurement portal and specifying the types of opportunities that you are interested in, to receive alerts relevant to your business area.
The process of registering with either Contracts Finder, East Midlands Tenders or TED does not make you a public sector supplier. In order to become a public sector supplier, you must first respond to a tender opportunity and then be awarded a contract.
