Social value commitment

For contracts valued above £50,000 per annum, we ask you for social value benefits. These are the things you will provide that improve our community. They could be economic, social or environmental.

We ask for social value benefits that you can provide from the contract above the main contract requirements.  The social value benefits we ask for are relevant and proportional to the contract.

We measure the impact of these benefits on the local community as part of our contract management with you. We do this to check that these benefits give improved outcomes for our community.

Our Social Value Policy Statement gives you some examples of the types of social value benefits you may be asked for.
