Early education and childcare funding

If your child is in early years education, your early years provider could get additional funding to help with your child’s education. This will be paid direct to your provider.

Early years providers identify eligible children and will ask for your consent to an eligibility check.

If you give consent:

• your provider will ask you for the National Insurance Number and Date of Birth (for both parents) - this will be shared with us
• our childcare co-ordinator will carry out an eligibility check and let your provider know the outcome
