How to pay for your parking
Our pay and display machines do not accept:
- coins
- notes
- chip and PIN payments
You can find instructions at the top of the machines.
Please make sure you press the buttons firmly and wait for the machine to respond to your choice - this helps to avoid accidentally choosing the wrong tariff and being charged more.

Pay & display and RingGo sessions are transferrable between car parks across both Oakham and Uppingham.
Contactless payment
You can pay by contactless payment - instructions on how to do this are on the machine.
RingGo
You can pay for your parking through RingGo:
- download the app for Android or Apple
- log in or create an account to pay through the RingGo website
- call 020 3046 0060
- text to park
We absorb the convenience fee charged by RingGo - make sure you disable the text reminder setting so you don't get charged for the message.
Card or cash payment - PayPoint
You can also pay by card or cash at participating PayPoint outlets - find your nearest PayPoint.
