Early help and social care - information for professionals

Information about early help and social care services for professionals working with children, young people and families in Rutland

We offer a range of services and support to families living in Rutland.

Most support for families can be provided by Early Help Services who work with children, young people and their families to offer the right support at an early stage before a small need becomes a bigger one.

A number of different professionals and organisations may be involved in Early Help to offer support in a range of areas. Early Help and support for families is summarised in Rutland's Strategy for Early Help

Support provided by Rutland County Council includes The Family HubAiming High, Young CarersCarers and the Youth Service

Some families who have a child with complex needs may also need support from the Children with Disabilities (CWD) social care service.  All services support the Rutland County Council's Offer to Children and Young People with Special Educational needs and/or Disabilities.

For further information about how families can access support or what support may be available email earlyhelp@rutland.gov.uk or call 01572 758493 and ask to speak to someone at our children’s front door team.
