To support Early Years providers with early identification, we have created the graduated response flowchart to help guide practitioners through the graduated response in Rutland. Where practitioners feel a child will benefit from more individualised support, you may need to refer into our Early Years Inclusion service.
Where health professionals have identified that a child may have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), they will complete a notification to the local authority called a Section 23.
For Rutland early years providers requiring additional funding for a child to deliver support that is above and beyond what is ordinarily available within the setting, you may apply for Special Educational Needs Inclusion Funding (SENIF).
