I have lived in Rutland for the last 25 years and have 4 grown up children and four grandchildren.
I am an enthusiastic, caring and motivated person who can work independently or under my own initiative. I strive to be the best I can be in all I do.
For the past 16 years I have been working within primary education where I have supported children with SEN and SEMH. I am a trained ELSA and with a basic background in counselling, I feel passionately about children and their wellbeing and helping them to be the very best version of themselves. Active listening is key and children need to feel heard, I work hard to develop trust and make children feel safe and supported - removing barriers to learning.
I can teach primary maths and most school subjects on 1:1 basis in a fun and engaging manner. I also think that life skills are as important. I enjoy being very creative in all areas including cooking and baking. I am incredibly adaptable and will happily follow your lead or be lead by the individuals wants and needs.
I am also happy to support with external activities.
