Report flooding
If you need to report flooding on local roads or inside your property, please visit our Report a flood page.
A dropped kerb allows vehicles to cross the pavement from the road to a driveway.
You must get consent from our highways team before installing a dropped kerb. You may also need to get planning permission if your property:
- has frontage directly onto a classified road
- is a listed building
- is not a house for a single family - for example, a flat, maisonette, commercial or industrial premises
How to apply
Complete the Vehicle Access Application Form and email to highways@rutland.gov.uk, or post to Highways, Rutland County Council, Catmose, Oakham, Rutland LE15 6HP
