Rutland County Council had allocated by the Central Government an additional £1.029 million to be used in 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 for road maintenance and resurfacing.

The resurfacing and maintenance work completed in 2023-24 with the additional £423,200 of funding announced in 2023’s Budget

Carriageway patching

  • Stretton Clipsham Road valued at £48,000
  • Exton and Horn Cottesmore Road valued at £51,100
  • Exton and Horn Barnsdale Avenue valued at £33,400
  • Oakham Station Approach valued at £45,300
  • Oakham Barlow Road valued at £18,300
  • Oakham Stamford Road valued at £62,700
  • Oakham Princess Avenue valued at £23,400
  • Oakham Snowdon Avenue valued at £7,200
  • Oakham Kings Road valued at £21,600
  • Belton in Rutland Loddington Lane valued at £11,900
  • Burley Church Lane valued at £17,600
  • Oakham Melton Road valued at £54,900
  • Oakham South Street valued at £27,500

Additional maintenance and resurfacing work programmed to be completed in 2024-2025 using the remainder of £606,000 allocated from unlocked Network North funding
