Statement of Community Involvement
How we will involve local communities when we prepare planning documents for Rutland
The Statement of Community Involvement sets out how we'll involve the community when we prepare Local Plan documents in Rutland.
It also covers how we'll engage the community in development proposals - particularly when planning applications are made.
We must review the statement every five years - but we can review it before then if necessary.
We adopted the Statement of Community Involvement on 18 August 2020. Cabinet approved minor revisions (to remove COVID-19 references and update the statement with the new Local Plan) on 5 April 2022.
