Water and flooding evidence
Strategic Flood Risk
The Strategic Flood Risk Assessment 2009 (SFRA) is made up of a:
- level 1 SFRA that examines flood risk across Rutland, including maps showing all identified sources of flood risk and an assessment of the implications of climate change on flood risk
- level 2 SFRA that reviews flood risk in Oakham and Uppingham in more detail, including guidance in relation to future policies and proposals
Download the Strategic Flood Risk Assessment update paper (April 2020) - this document reviews the findings of the 2009 SFRA and updates it to reflect the latest climate change requirements set out by the Environment Agency.

- Planning Summary Report- January 2011 identifying the main planning issues arising from the report
- Key Constraints Assessment- January 2011 (this how now been largely superseded by the Technical and Planning reports).
