How to appeal the CIL charge
You can appeal against some aspects of the CIL collection and enforcement system.
You cannot appeal against Social Housing Relief or Exceptional Circumstances Relief.

If you disagree with the CIL liability calculated in the Liability Notice, you can request a review within 28 days of the date the notice was issued. To request a review, you must write to us, clearly explaining why you think the Liability Notice is incorrect and include any supporting evidence. Submit your request with the title 'Request for CIL Regulation 113 Review by email to cil@rutland.gov.uk or write to: Community Infrastructure and Planning Obligations Officer, Rutland County Council, Catmose, Oakham, Rutland LE15 6HP.
