Local land charge searches

Personal searches

You can carry out a personal search of the Local Land Charges Register on GOV.UK.

As an alternative to us carrying out an official CON29 search, you can access CON29 data directly from our website.

Only these questions can be requested under the Environmental Information Regulations (EIR):

  • 3.7 a-g
  • 3.8
  • 3.9 a-n
  • 3.11b
  • 3.12

Email your request to personalsearches@rutland.gov.uk along with a plan of the search area outlined clearly in red. You will need to send each request separately and give the property address in the email subject line.

We will respond to you within five to seven working days, unless we need more information.

If we can provide a search response in less than five working days, we will - but we do not offer an expedited search service.
