Your Green Waste Collection Service
From 1 April 2020 you will need to have a new green waste subscription sticker for your green bin to be emptied.
Subscriptions taken out on or before the 28 February 2020 will received their stickers by 1 April.
Please allow a minimum of 10 working days for your sticker to be printed and sent out in time for your first scheduled collection.
You can still subscribe for the remainder of the subscription year and a discount is available if someone living in your property is in receipt of Local Council Tax Support.
Green Bin Stickers
Once you have subscribed we will send you a new sticker to display on your bin.
Your sticker(s) will be sent in the post and cannot be collected from the Council Offices.
Green bins that don't display the new 2020 sticker won't be collected after 31 March 2020.
Once you’ve received your sicker, or stickers, please follow these steps:
- Place each sticker on the back of each green bin, just below the handles, as shown in our guide.
- Place each green bin at the edge of your property with the handles facing the road by 7.00 am on collection days.
- If you don't know your collection day, check our Waste Collection Calendar
You can now register or renew your subscription for our Green Waste Service.
Please read our full Terms and Conditions before registering for the Green Waste Collection Service.
If you don't want to renew your green waste subscription your green bin will not be emptied after 31 March 2020.
Alternative options for disposing of green waste include Home Composting or taking your green waste to one of our Civic Amenity Sites.
