Town and Village Appraisals
The Town and Village Appraisals form part of the evidence base to support the preparation on the Local Plan.
The 2013 report updates the previous 2009 report to include the latest 2011 census information where available and any local issues for each settlement.
The purpose of the document is to provide a comprehensive assessment of each town and village to:
- determine how sustainable it is,
- indicate physical constraints to future developments,
- identify what development is required to meet local needs.
