All our libraries are free to join and offer a range of fantastic services, including:
- book, audio book, eBook and large print loans (free)
- children’s fiction and information books to borrow (free)
- request items that are in stock, and no overdue charges! (free)
- DVD hire
- library catalogue, with a dedicated catalogue just for children
- Books on Prescription service
- home library service – home deliveries if you're unable to visit the library (free)
- Ancestry.com and FindMyPast access (from your own home)
We have had to suspend these services due to COVID-19 - we hope to restart them as soon as conditions allow:
- Mobile Library service – although home deliveries are still available
- Book Start story times and rhyme times for children under five
- wi-fi and internet access on our touch-screen computers
- author events and regular hands-on activities
- photocopying and printing
- practise for your driving test online with Theory Test Pro
