COVID-19: Council building closures and changes to service opening hours

Our opening hours are : Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8.30 am – 5.00 pm, Friday 8.30 am – 4.30 pm.
Homeless in an emergency
If you are homeless and the council offices are closed, then you can contact the homelessness out of hours service on 01858 464 499.
You should only use this service if you have nowhere to stay immediately.
When you phone the officer will ask some questions and depending on your circumstances, may offer you accommodation.
This could be outside of Rutland.
You will then be expected to attend the offices on the next working day for an assessment of your situation and to receive housing advice.
Our Housing Options Team are located at Rutland County Council offices.
The team can help with all manners of telephone enquiries about our services and are available to make appointments for you.
Our Housing Options team will generally be available for booked appointments on the following days: Monday, Wednesday and Friday, however, we can be flexible and arrangement appointments outside of these days.
We are also happy to arrange the appointment to be at a location suitable for you.
