Health and Well-being Board

The Rutland Health and Well-being Board is a formal committee of Rutland County Council. It aims to promote joint working between the NHS, social care, public health and other local services.

Members of the Health and Well-being Board include:

  • Rutland County Council
  • East Leicestershire and Rutland Clinical Commissioning Group (responsible for GPs and local health providers)
  • NHS England
  • Healthwatch Rutland
  • Leicestershire Constabulary 

Terms of Reference

The Health and Well-being Board aims to achieve better health, well-being and social care outcomes for people who live in Rutland and a better quality of care for patients and other people using local services.

The Health and Well-being Board also draws on Rutland's Joint Health and Well-being Strategy to provide leadership and manage change across health and social care.
