How we use and store your personal data

We may ask you for your personal information, for example you name, address and postcode to fulfil your request for information or service.

  • Your personal data will be held securely and will be used for the purpose of COVID-19 volunteer ID and co-ordination.
  • It will only be held for COVID-19 purposes for the duration at which point your information will be deleted. You are able to opt out at any time by emailing the Data Protection Officer at DataProtection@rutland.gov.uk, at which point your contact details will be withdrawn for this purpose and you will no longer be a volunteer.
  • Any processing will be performed in line with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulation.
  • The council is registered as a Data Controller with the Information Commissioner’s Office under the reference number Z4705995 See details about how we process personal data in our privacy notice.
