Household Support Fund

On 23 March 2022, the Government announced in the Spring Statement that the Household Support Fund (HSF) would be extended from 1 April 2022 to 30 September 2022.

Our scheme will provide:

  • a food voucher for households with school aged children for the half-term in June and the summer holidays
  • a one-off payment of £100 to eligible households in receipt of Local Council Tax Support
  • a grant of £2,000 to Anglian Water, to enable them to directly support households who are struggling to pay their water bill
  • A one-off payment of £100 to care leavers

Detailed eligibility criteria apply, which you can find in our policy.

If your household is eligible,  you do not need to apply. You will receive a letter with a bar code from the Post Office that will allow you to go to a Post Office to claim your award. You will have to show the barcoded letter and identification to receive your payment - find out more about this on the Post Office website.

The Post Office will issue the letters in early July - we ask that you claim the payment as soon as your letter arrives.

If you've not received your letter but your household has extenuating circumstances or your are experiencing severe financial hardship, complete the form and email to: localtaxation@rutland.gov.uk.
