Household Support Fund

The Government will provide a Household Support Fund Grant to cover the period 6 October 2021 to 31 March 2022.

Rutland County Council has been allocated £157,371.07 funding for the scheme.

Here is a summary of our policy:

  1. Households with children who are eligible for free school meals will receive food vouchers at the end of each term for October half-term, Christmas, February half-term and possibly Easter 2022 (this will depend on the funding we have left). There is no need to apply as vouchers will be distributed by schools.
  2. If your household is in receipt of Local Council Tax Support on 15/11/2021 we will contact you by email or letter and provide you with details of how to claim a Household Support Payment of £100.
