One-off grant for businesses mandated to close
We'll be issuing a one-off top up grant for all legally closed businesses, worth up to £9,000 per property, to help businesses through to the Spring.
There are thresholds that apply - businesses occupying hereditaments appearing on the local rating list with a value of:
- exactly £15,000 or under on the date of the commencement of the widespread national restrictions will receive a payment of £4,000
- over £15,000 and less than £51,000 on the date of the commencement of the widespread national restrictions will receive a payment of £6,000
- exactly £51,000 or above on the commencement date of the widespread national restrictions, will receive £9,000
We're waiting for details from Government and our funding allocation, which we expect shortly.
When we get this information, we would hope to make payments in about two weeks time, and are hoping to avoid an application process so we can get payments to businesses quickly.
We already have your bank details and will make an automatic payment to you.
Please do not re-apply
We will update this page when Government guidance is published
