Market Positions Statements

This Market Position Statement (MPS) is aimed at both current and potential providers of Learning Disability Services who are potentially thinking about operating within Rutland. Individuals included in the scope of this report are children and adults of all ages with Learning Disabilities (LD) and/or Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and their families/carers. This includes those with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities.

Rutland Learning Disability Market Position Statement

 It is intended to give an insight into the needs and aspirations of individuals within this group and is based on current commissioning trends, future population growth, anticipated demand and commissioning intentions over the next 3-5 years. It is part of a suite of documents that provide the key information and statistics on needs, demand and trends for the county.

People Directorate Strategic Commissioning Statement

Rutland’s People Directorate Strategic Commissioning Statement sets out Rutland County Council’s strategic commissioning approach for services for People.   It explains what we want to achieve from our services in the future and how we intend to commission.  It includes the range of services we deliver across the People Directorate including Adults’ and Children’s Care and Support services; Education and Learning; Housing; and Community Safety.
