We have two rooms at the Registration Services building:
The Register Office
For a simple, legal ceremony – available Monday to Friday.
Seats 10 (including the couple and two witnesses).
Catmose Cottage
An elegant, Georgian drawing room seating up to 55 guests (including the couple and two witnesses). Plus use of our walled garden for photographs after your ceremony.
Available Monday to Sunday.
Applications for Approved Premises'
An application has been made by Rutland County Council for Oakham Castle, Castle Grounds, Oakham, Rutland, to be approved under Sections 46A and 46B of the Marriage Act 1949, Section 36(1) of the Civil Partnership Act 2004 and the Marriages and Civil Partnerships (Approved Premises) Regulations 2005 as a venue for the solemnisation of civil marriages and the registration of civil partnerships.
