Financial crisis support

We may be able to help you if you're struggling due to sudden financial hardship that is affecting your health and wellbeing, for example damage caused by a flood or fire, or if you need help to leave an abusive relationship.

Our Crisis Support Fund Policy gives you more detail about this. We can't help if you're living beyond your means, for carpets or curtains, or as a substitute for your normal income.

We can help by providing goods like cookers, vouchers for furniture or vouchers for the local foodbank. We do not award cash.

Rutland Citizens Advice Bureau manage all financial crisis support applications on our behalf.

How to make an application

If you're in crisis and need to apply for help, please download and complete our Crisis Application Form.

You will need to take or send you completed application form to the Rutland Citizens Advice Bureau, 56 High Street, Oakham, LE15 6AL. You can also contact them on 01572 723 494.
