Older residents across Rutland are being encouraged to get active by taking part in a series of exercise sessions as part of a week-long fitness campaign run by Leicester-shire and Rutland Sport.

The annual Feel Alive from 65 campaign aims to encourage adults aged 65 and over to increase their physical activity through a variety of activities held from Monday 25th September through to Sunday 1st October.

Over 30 different activities will be available for people to try at various locations across Oakham and Uppingham, including walking football, line dancing and badminton.

There is a small fee for each session and booking may be required in some cases due to limited availability.
