Date Published: 28 October 2019

Rutland County Museum will continue its 50th anniversary celebrations with a performance from special guests Gresley Male Voice Choir.

The musical event will take place on Saturday 23 November at 7:15pm, with doors opening at 6:30pm.

Tickets are priced at £10 and available in advance from the Museum or via the online ticketing website WeGotTickets.

Founded in 1904, Gresley Male Choir has toured extensively both in the UK and internationally. The choral ensemble, made up of more than 40 members, has an extensive repertoire covering classical, popular and show music.

Rutland County Museum was officially opened in May 1969 by the Duchess of Gloucester.

“It is an absolute pleasure to welcome such a well-regarded group of performers to Rutland County Museum to help celebrate our 50th anniversary. The Choir is hugely talented and a real joy to watch. It promises to be a wonderful evening of musical entertainment so be sure to get your ticket early to avoid disappointment.”
Councillor Lucy Stephenson, Cabinet Member for Culture and Leisure

The performance by Gresley Male Choir is one of several events organised this year to mark the Museum’s 50th anniversary.
