Residents are being asked to comment on proposals that could lead to the creation of a neighbourhood plan for Wing.

Rutland County Council has received an application to create a Wing Neighbourhood Area, which is the first stage in the neighbourhood planning process.

The plan area covers the whole of Wing Parish and local residents have until Friday 9th June 2017 to share their views as part of a public consultation.

Any comments should be submitted to Rutland County Council and can be sent via email to: localplan@rutland.gov.uk

Alternatively, comments can be made in writing to:

Planning Policy Manager
Rutland County Council
Council Offices
Rutland, LE15 6HP

Full details can be found on our Neighbourhood Plans page, while all application documents are also available for inspection at Rutland County Council’s offices, the Mobile Library and Oakham Library (currently located in Oakham Museum).

After the consultation has closed, Rutland County Council will consider any responses received before making a final decision on the application. If approved, the proposals would allow a neighbourhood plan for Wing to be prepared to shape development in the area.

For more information or enquiries, please email: localplan@rutland.gov.uk or call: 01572 722 577.
