Voting in the 2017 General Election took place on Thursday 8th June.

The result for the Rutland and Melton Constituency is as follows:

  • Sir Alan Duncan, The Conservative Party - 36,169 votes ELECTED
  • Alastair McQuillan, The Green Party - 1,755 votes 
  • Heather Peto, Labour Party - 13,065 votes
  • Ed Reynolds, Liberal Democrats - 4,711 votes
  • John Scutter, UK Independence Party (UKIP) - 1,869 votes

Turnout for Rutland and Melton Constituency was 73.43%
