Political Composition of the Council

Rutland County Council is made up of 27 Elected Members, or Councillors, representing 15 Wards.

Councillors can combine into political groups. The make-up of the groups on the council is currently:

  •    Conservative: 15  
  •  The Independent Group: 7
  •  Liberal Democrats: 3
  • Non-aligned: 1
  • Vacancy: 1
