Open Register

The open register is an extract of the electoral register and your name and address will be included in the open register unless you ask for them to be removed.  The open register is not used for the elections and can be bought by any person, company or organisation.  It is often used by businesses and charities to confirm name and address details.  Removing your details from the open register does not affect your right to vote.

You can request your details are not included in the open register when registering to vote.  You can also request that your details be removed from the open register during the annual canvass or by emailing the elections team at elections@rutland.gov.uk.  Applications to purchase copies of the open register can be obtained from elections@rutland.gov.uk.
