Postal Vote

All registered voters are now allowed to have a postal vote - you do not need a reason to vote by post but you do need to have already registered under the Individual Electoral Registration.  

A postal vote can be requested for a specific election or it can be a permanent arrangement. Further information on and application forms can be found on the Electoral Commission’s website

Application forms can also be obtained by:

  • Calling customer services on 01572 722 577
  • E-mailing a request to elections@rutland.gov.uk
  • Making a request in writing to the Electoral Registration Officer, Rutland County Council, Catmose Street, Oakham, LE15 6HP.
  • Collecting a copy of the application form from the Council’s Customer Services Centre at Catmose. 

Completed application forms need to be returned to the Electoral Registration Officer, Rutland County Council, Catmose Street, Oakham, LE15 6HP.
