A vacancy has occurred in the office of Councillor for the Ryhall and Casterton Ward of Rutland County Council District Council. An election will now take place on 12th September and poll cards will be dispatched on or around 16th - 17th August.
Applications to register must be received by midnight on Tuesday 27th August 2019 to be eligible to vote in this election. Online registration is available at www.yourvotematters.co.uk and a form is downloadable from the same website, or you can request one by contacting us (see contact details below).
Anyone wishing to apply for an absent vote (postal or proxy) must be registered under the IER system. Application forms for absent votes can be downloaded and printed from www.yourvotematters.co.uk or you can request one contacting us. Applications for new postal and Postal Proxy votes must be received by 5pm on Wednesday 28th August 2019 for these elections. This also includes amendments to current proxy arrangements.
