Remember to Return Your Postal Vote

Your Vote Matters

We're reminding people to return any postal votes as soon as possible ahead of Parish, Town and County Council elections taking place on 2 May 2019.

Postal Vote packs for the local elections have now been issued to those who are registered to vote by post. 

A final distribution of postal votes is due to take place on 23 April 2019 to accommodate any last-minute applications. 

Once received, postal voters are advised to complete and return their packs as soon as possible. This can be done in one of the following ways:

  • By Royal Mail
  • Delivered by hand to Rutland County Council’s offices in Oakham before 5pm on Thurs 2 May 2019
  • Delivered by hand to your Polling Station between 7am and 10pm on Thurs 2 May 2019

The final date for registering to vote in the forthcoming local elections was 12 April 2019. The final date for registering for a Postal Vote was 15 April 2019.
