Car Park Resurfacing Works

Date Published: 26 July 2018
Catmose Car Park, Oakham

Westgate Car Park in Oakham will be closed temporarily for improvement works on Saturday 4 July 2018.

The works mark the final phase of a scheduled programme of resurfacing being carried out in Oakham car parks.

A temporary closure is needed in order to complete the works quickly and safely and is not expected to last all day. There will also be clear signposting to alternative car parks.

The work is being carried out at weekends when there is capacity in other car parks, rather than during the working week when demand for parking is much higher.

Works have already been completed at South Street, Brooke Road and Catmose car parks,  on time and with minimal disruption.

Drivers can park for free in Catmose Car Park for up to two hours every Saturday as part of an ongoing trial.
