The role of Trading Standards and how to contact the service

Trading Standards is a shared service with Peterborough City Council.

If you think a business has broken the law or acted unfairly, you can report this through the Citizens Advice Consumer Service. The Citizens Advice Consumer Service can give you free, impartial and confidential advice or refer your enquiry to us, if necessary.

How to get advice

You can find answers to the most frequently asked consumer questions on the Citizens Advice Bureau Consumer Service website.

You can complete the online form - make sure you give your address, as this will speed up the time it takes to get an answer.

If you're in dispute with business based in another country, visit the International Consumer Centre website for advice.
