Rutland County Museum visitor survey

Help us to improve what's on offer at Rutland County Museum.

We’re inviting people to take part in an important survey about what’s on offer at Rutland County Museum.

We’re launching this survey to gather views from residents, partners, and stakeholders as we work to improve the museum by transforming it into a state-of-the-art cultural and civic destination.

Our early plans include adding the world-renowned Rutland Sea Dragon skeleton - Britain’s largest and most complete fossil of its kind!  This would take taking centre stage at the museum, along with the County’s incredible Roman Mosaic, as part of an innovative digital visitor experience.

The short online questionnaire only takes around three minutes to complete but will help us gather feedback that will shape the next stage of the museum’s development.

Your input is invaluable in ensuring that the museum reflects both the needs of the local community and the ambitions of our wider heritage and cultural investment.

How to get involved

Please get involved by taking part in a short online survey before Friday 27 April 2025. It only takes around four minutes to complete.

Thank you for your time and support.
