Rutland County Council is working in partnership with Midlands Connect and several local authorities across the Midlands region to install more electric vehicle charge points for public use.
This work is being carried out as part of a national Local Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (LEVI) project funded by the Government’s Office for Zero Emissions Vehicles (OZEV).
Public consultation on possible locations for new electric vehicle charge points around Rutland closed at 5.00pm on Monday 4 March 2024.
What we consulted on
We asked for feedback to help us understand the demand for on-street electric vehicle (EV) chargepoints and charging requirements in Rutland, so that we can plan a network of EV chargepoints that work for local communities.
