Register for green waste subscriptions from 31 March
Residents in Rutland will be able to renew and sign up for the 2025 to 2026 green waste subscriptions from the slightly later date of 31 March 2025

Residents in Rutland will be able to renew and sign up for the 2025 to 2026 green waste subscriptions from the slightly later date of 31 March 2025.
Residents planning to continue their subscription for the upcoming year will receive their normal service throughout April without any disruption.
This year, stickers will not be sent out as they are not needed by those that subscribe. The new built-in technology in our vehicles will now provide all of this information.
From 31 March 2025 you can register via the Green Waste Subscription page. Alternatively, please email greenwaste@rutland.gov.uk or call 01572 758 488.
Rutland County Council’s Portfolio Holder for Transport, Environment and Communities, Cllr Christine Wise, said:
‘The slightly later registration date is giving us the time needed to update systems and migrate to a new software platform. Those who want to resubscribe for 2025 to 2026 will not see any difference to their collections during April.
‘Any new customers who would like to subscribe for the first time will be able to do so from 31 March in the normal way.
‘We are urging residents to please sign up when subscriptions open on 31 March or as close to this date as possible to ensure they are added to our database promptly.’

Another great way to get rid of your green waste is to compost. More information about composting is available on our Waste less page.
