Public consultation for Ryhall library now closed

Rutland County Council’s public consultation on how best to deliver library services in Ryhall and the surrounding area has now closed.
The 30-day consultation period gave residents the opportunity to share views and alternative options for their local library service. This follows a review of the library building’s condition, alongside plans to improve all four of Rutland’s libraries.
The consultation closed on Friday 28 February and responses will now be carefully reviewed and considered. A public report will be produced and presented to Cabinet on 8 April where Cabinet Members will consider options before making a final decision on how the library service will continue in Ryhall and nearby parishes.
“Thank you to everyone who participated in the consultation. Your input has been instrumental in helping us gain an understanding of the needs and preferences of library users in Ryhall. We remain dedicated to ensuring that residents continue to have access to a library service that meets the needs of the community.”
Councillor Christine Wise, Cabinet Member for Transport, Environment and Communities at Rutland County Council
The agenda and reports for Cabinet on Tuesday 8 April will be published on the Council’s website a week prior to the meeting date: www.rutland.gov.uk/meetings.
