Linda Chatfield (Liberal Democrats) has been elected as a ward member for Oakham North-East following a local by-election on Thursday 21 November 2024.

Linda Chatfield was elected with 244 votes and will serve as a Rutland county councillor until the next round of normal council elections in 2027.

Result

  • Ben Callaghan, Reform UK - 93 votes
  • Linda Louise Chatfield, Liberal Democrats - 244 votes (Elected)
  • Christopher Eric St John, Conservative Party Candidate - 237 votes
  • Katie Ross, Labour Party - 23 votes

Turnout for the by-election was 27%.
