Rutland County Council has published a Notice for the Election of a Member of Parliament for the Rutland and Stamford constituency and are urging residents to ensure they are registered to vote in time

A Notice has been published for the Election of a Member of Parliament for the Rutland and Stamford constituency.

If the election is contested the poll will be held on Thursday 4 July 2024. Further details can be found in the full Notice of Election, published here

Nomination papers for candidates wishing to stand in this election are available from 
Rutland County Council at elections@rutland.gov.uk or by calling 01572 720954.

To ensure you can vote in the upcoming general election please make sure you are registered to vote by 11.59pm on Tuesday 18th June. You can find all the information you need and register to vote at https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote.

If you are already registered to vote and would like to vote by post or postal proxy, or amend an existing postal or proxy vote, please apply before 5pm on Wednesday 19th June. If you would like to apply for a new proxy vote your application must reach us before 5pm on Thursday, 26th June.  You can find all information about the election and postal and proxy voting here
