"Dementia is a condition that doesn’t just affect those who live with it but it also affects those who live, care for and love them. There are a range of information and support sessions on throughout Dementia Awareness Week that we hope that many people will be able to take advantage of. Getting the right advice is vital so even if you can’t come along to one of the events we would urge those affected by dementia to find out more about the support available and contact Age UK Leicestershire and Rutland or our dedicated Admiral Nurse."
Councillor Diane Ellison, Cabient Member for Adult Care and Health
