Rutland County Council is inviting representations on the Draft Edith Weston Neighbourhood Plan, which has been formally submitted by Edith Weston Parish Council.

The Neighbourhood Plan sets out how Edith Weston should be developed over the period to 2041 and has been based on analysis of evidence and community and stakeholder engagement.

The Edith Weston Neighbourhood Plan guides future development, focused on the themes of sustainable growth, residential development, natural landscape, green space, heritage, design, transport and other matters.

Comments can be made until 5.00pm on Monday 10th June.

The submission plan and supporting documents can be read on our Neighbourhood Planning pages.

Representations must be made in writing and can be submitted in the following ways:

  • Emailed to: localplan@rutland.gov.uk
  • Posted to: Planning Policy, Rutland County Council, Catmose, Oakham, Rutland, LE15 6HP

Once this consultation has closed, all representations and comments received will be passed to an independent examiner who will consider the representations and recommend whether the Neighbourhood Plan should be put to a community referendum.

If you have any questions about the Edith Weston Neighbourhood Plan, please email: localplan@rutland.gov.uk or phone: 01572 720902 to speak to someone in the Planning Policy Team.
