The changes, although minor, bring together services that need to work closely together under the focus of one Portfolio Holder, whilst balancing priorities of the Council.

  • Policy & Strategy, Partnerships, Equalities and Diversity

Portfolio Holder for Governance and Resources - Deputy Leader of the Council, Cllr Andrew Johnson

  • Finance, Digital, Law & Governance, Audit, Performance Management, Communications, Customer, HR

Portfolio Holder for Planning, Property and Economic Development, Cllr Paul Browne

  • Planning, Property and Assets, Economic Development, Heritage and Visitor Economy,

Portfolio Holder for Transport, Environment and Communities, Cllr Christine Wise

  • Highways & Transport, Community Safety, Environment and Climate Change, Waste, Communities

Portfolio Holder for Adults and Health, Cllr Diane Ellison,

  • Health, Public Health, Adult Social Care and Safeguarding, Housing Options, Homelessness and Resettlement

Portfolio Holder for Children and Families, Cllr Tim Smith

"Although these changes to portfolio holders’ responsibilities are minor they allow us to reflect current priorities and better places us to deliver services within our means."
