All the results for Rutland County Council elections held on Thursday 4 May have been declared.
Local Elections for Rutland County Council took place on Thursday 4 May 2023, with 13 of the county’s 15 electoral wards contested.
The results of the election are as follows:

The Count for Rutland’s 2023 Local Elections took place at Catmose House, in Oakham on Friday 5 May and was completed at 5.05pm.
Overall turnout for the election was 34.21% The ward with the highest overall turnout was Braunston and Martinsthorpe (45.6%).
Rutland County Council issued 4,081 Postal Votes in the run-up to the election, of which 2,724 (66.7%) were returned.
Rutland County Council has 27 seats and, following the election, now comprises:
- 11 Liberal Democrat councillors
- 6 Conservative councillors
- 7 Independent and others
- 2 Labour
- 1 Green councillor
