A referendum was held in the Parish of Market Overton on Thursday 23 February 2023 to decide on the following question:
Do you want Rutland County Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for the Parish of Market Overton to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?
Result:
- Number cast in favour of a ‘YES’ – 101 votes
- Number cast in favour of a ‘NO’ – 6 votes
The total number of votes represented 27% of the registered electors, with more than half of those voting in favour of the Market Overton Neighbourhood Plan.
