Earlier this month, Rutland County Council distributed vouchers to households eligible for financial support thanks to the £157,371 allocated to the local authority.

The remaining money will now be used to support others who may be struggling to buy food or pay their energy bills as a result of the rising cost of living. An online application is now open. The scheme ends on 31 March 2023, or sooner if the fund is spent, so don’t delay if you need help.

Rutland County Council will consider applications and grant funding to those who would benefit the most. Please read the policy before you apply

“Thanks to the Household Support Fund we have been able to help lots of families who may be struggling with the pressures of the winter months.

“We know that there are people beyond the usual eligibility criteria who are also facing financial difficulties so it’s welcome news that we are in a position to help those people too. I would urge anyone who is struggling to apply for this grant.”
