Information on how Rutland County Council prepares for emergencies

Rutland County Councils emergency management is supported by LLR Prepared. It is responsible for supporting local authorities within Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland to respond to major incidents and enable them to meet their responsibilities under the Civil Contingencies Act 2004.

The Partnership supports Rutland County Council to produce and maintain effective plans to enable the Council to respond in the event of an emergency, including:

  • Major Incident Plan 
  • Emergency Centre Plan
  • Business Continuity Planning
